Welcome to ESL, ASE Dalmatians!  My name is Michelle Tran and I am the EL Specialist here at Sullivan.  I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with your Dalmatians. My job is so rewarding! I get the special privilege to not only support students and families from all over the world, but also to work with our dynamic teachers to develop strategies that help make content accessible to all students.  

Prior to being the EL Specialist, I taught Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten for many years-a few in Alief ISD and the rest in Fort Bend ISD. I graduated from University of Houston with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree – major in Marketing.  After working in the accounting field for several years, I returned to the U of H, go Coogs, and earned a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Early Childhood Education. 

I was born in Vietnam but definitely raised as a true Houstonian.  I grew up in Houston and have lived in Sugar Land for the majority of my life.  My husband and I are blessed with two wonderful grown daughters; Emily and Holly who we adore.  I love spending time with my family and friends, baking, reading, gardening, swimming, shopping, decorating and shifting furniture in my house, yet again.
