Hello! My name is Alyce Edwards, and I am thrilled to be a part of Anne Sullivan Elementary School’s vibrant community. With a degree in Music Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and 21 years of teaching experience, I have dedicated my career to nurturing young voices and fostering a love for music. I believe that music is a powerful tool for enhancing cognitive development and emotional expression. In my classroom, I use a blend of singing, movement, and instrumental activities to create an immersive and joyful learning environment.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy attending musical productions, including opera, the symphony and national Broadway tours. I have been happily married for 34 years and am a proud mother of three wonderful daughters. Recently, I welcomed my first grandchild, a delightful 7-month-old grandson, into our family.

I look forward to sharing my passion for music with your children and helping them discover the joy of singing.
