Hi! My name is Michelle Polk and I love being a second grade teacher! I teach Reading, Writing,, Phonics, and Social Studies. I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education.  My husband and I moved to Texas in 1990. We are blessed to have our son, Elijah, who means the world to us. This year begins my 27th year teaching in Fort Bend ISD, and 28th year as an educator. I am FBISD GT trained, as well as ESL certified. My favorite activities include shopping, decorating, watching TV and traveling (beach destinations especially). I am looking forward to my 9th year at ASE. It is a great place to be.
