Miss Serle

Hi! My name is Nicole Serle, and I am excited to be teaching 4th grade English Language Arts and Social Studies!

A little bit about my teaching background – In Chicago, I co-taught 4th and 6th grade Reading, Writing, Math, Science and Social Studies. I moved to Texas in 2016 and started at Sullivan that December as the 3rd-5th grade Resource teacher. The following year, I became the Special Ed. Team Leader and CLASS Program teacher. I continued in that role for 5 years until I transitioned to 4th grade in 2022.

Outside of school, I like to stay active. I have a Golden Doodle named Byrdie who is the most spoiled, perfect little pup ever! I also run a non-profit organization called The Lellow Foundation, which is my heart and soul. Lellow is named after my Uncle Johnny who had Down Syndrome, and his favorite color was “lellow.” Our mission is to support economically disadvantaged kids with special needs.

I’m looking forward to a wonderful year ahead! Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with questions, suggestions, or just to check in. I believe in teaching the whole child and count on your involvement for success!
