Hello Fabulous 5th Graders!  I am so glad to be a part of the Dalmatian Nation!  

I have been teaching for 25+ years, with 12+ of those years in 5th grade.  My first five years in FBISD was at the GT Academy at Quail Valley Middle School.  Before moving to Fort Bend ISD, I taught in Clear Creek ISD and Keller ISD.  I have had the privilege of being awarded Teacher of the Year twice.  Once at Keller ISD and most recently, in 2015, at Quail Valley Middle School.  I completed my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education at Oklahoma Baptist University.  I am FBISD GT certified and ESL certified. 

I am married to my amazing husband, Aaron, and together we are blessed with two precious kids.  I have a love of learning and I try to instill that love into my children and students.  I love to explore history, especially ancient civilizations.  My dream one day is to be able to visit some of these ancient sites. My goal for each and every student is that they become active members of their own learning and that characteristic will grow as they enter into middle school.
