My name is Angie James, and I’m excited about teaching fifth grade ELA and social studies at Sullivan Elementary.  I've been teaching for many years.  However, this is my twenty-five year in Fort Bend ISD.  I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in education.  I am certified to teach grades 1st-8th, ESL, and trained to teach GT.  Before pursuing a career in education, I served in the Army National Guard for ten years.  I’m excited about helping students achieve their educational endeavors as future leaders and problem solvers.  I believe education is the foundation that empowers children to positively impact the world. 

I consider myself a lifelong learner and I like to learn new things in my free time.  Also, I love to jog, travel, and I’m interested in health and wellness. I'm looking forward to a great year!
