My name is Fawzia Elsaadi and I am the K-2 ELA Resource teacher at Anne Sullivan Elementary. I am married to my amazing husband Samer, and we have 4 beautiful children. Moon and Yousef go to Elkins High school, Dalia is at First Colony Middle school and our baby Maryam is in 2nd grade here at ASE. We have lived in Riverstone since 2011 and we love it here.
I had the honor to serve on the original PTA excecutive board when Anne Sullivan opened in 2016 and served on the board for 3 years. When our youngest daughter started kindergarten, I decided to start substitute teaching, and that is when my journey as an educator started. My first assignment was at ASE for one of our Special Education programs and I was hooked!! I have a special place in my heart for Special Education and I knew that is what I was meant to do. I felt like it was my calling and so I decided to enroll in a teaching program when Covid put all our lives on hold.
I am so happy to have this oppertunity to serve the school that I love so much. I can't wait to make more memories at ASE.
