Greetings! I am very excited to be teaching Second grade at Sullivan Elementary. I have been teaching in Fort Bend ISD since 2008. I have taught First grade for 6 months and (ESL) English as a Second Language for the past 7 and half years. This will be my eigth year teaching Second grade.

I received my (EC) Early Childhood – fourth grade – Bilingual Generalist and a Master of Education – Curriculum & Instruction – Bilingual Education. I received my Bachelors of Business Administration – Marketing and Management from the University of Houston. I am ESL Certified and GT Trained. 

I have been married to my husband, Tom, for the past 29 years. We have 1 son, Winston. He graduated from Sam Houston University May, 2024 majoring in Biology and minoring in Forensics Science and Investigations. He is currently in the progress of entering the military. My hobbies are reading all types of Genres, Calligraphy writing, paper crafts, and taking care of my pets: Chiweenie dog, (Zoe), Rat Terriers (Totoro and Hayata) two cats a Siamese (Yuki) and a Bombay breed (Vigel). I enjoy puzzles, learning about different languages and cultures and being a former Advancement Chair for the Troop 38 Boy Scouts of America.

 My goal for all of my students is to help them be successful academically and socially.
