Hi Dalmatian families!

My name is Jordan Ballein (pronounced Buh-lin), and I'm thrilled to embark on an exciting year in kindergarten with your little one!

I was born and raised in Blacksburg, Virginia, and I pursued my passion for teaching at Radford University, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I furthered my education with a master's degree in Educational Theory and Practice from Arkansas State University.

From a young age, I knew I wanted to become a teacher. I am now in my seventh year in education, with experience teaching kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. I currently serve as the Kindergarten Team Lead and was honored to be named the 2024-2025 Anne Sullivan Elementary Teacher of the Year.

My primary goal is to build a strong relationship with your child and your family. Together, we are a team dedicated to your child's education. I am eager to witness all the incredible achievements your child will make this school year. Rest assured, I am a steadfast advocate for your child and will support them in every possible way.
