Student Council is an organized group of student representatives that meet once a month for the purpose of doing special projects for the school and community. Each class in grades 3-5 will be representented by two students, one girl and one boy.
Qualifications of a Student Council representative:
- Be a leader
- Be able to inform the class of information and events through oral communication skills
- Be dependable
- Be willing to work
- Must maintain a "C" average and satisfactory conduct
Dates: First Thursday of the month
Times: 3:30-4:30
Description: Students are elected by their homeroom classmates as the Student Council representative. They will meet once a month to complete school wide and community projects.
Requirements: Third, fourth, and fifth graders: 2 members per each homeroom class. Students cannot be in another Thursday afternoon club.
