I am thrilled to embark on another exciting year teaching third grade math and science at Anne Sullivan Elementary. With twelve years of experience in FBISD, I continue to find immense joy in my work. I earned my Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston and furthered my education with a Master's Degree in Science Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas.  My teaching philosophy revolves around fostering student's math and science skills through hands-on activities, small group instruction, and engaging STEM applications. Witnessing their growth in abilities and confidence throughout the year is incredibly rewarding. I firmly believe in nurturing a growth mindset in my students.

Outside the classroom, I am happily married and proud parent to three wonderful children.  My eldest son, Alex, also teaches elementary school in FBISD.  My younger son, Emiliano, is currently a student at the University of Houston, while my daughter, Gabriella, graduated from Sullivan and now attends FSMS. In my spare time, I indulge in my passions for travel, photography, gardening, and immersing myself in nature through camping and outdoor adventures.
