Greetings Palmer Elementary families and students!

I am Sunny Astorga.  I am entering my 2nd year teaching at Palmer, but come with over 20 years of experience in public education. I absolutely love to teach!  I look forward to learning how to best support students and working with families. It truly takes a village.

My hope is that second grade brings a love of learning and achievement. I look forward to celebrating the academic growth of your Palmer Bear...while having fun and laughing along the way. We will get to learn, grow and support each other every day. 

When I am not teaching, I spend time with my own children and husband.  I have 2 boys, who are also enrolled in FBISD. I love to go to the beach, watch my boys play baseball, swim and watch movies!  

Together we will have an amazing 22 - 23 school year.
