Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! I am Mr. AJ, and I am excited to be teaching Anne Sullivan Elementary's ABC program this year!

This is my second year teaching with FBISD and my fifth year at Anne Sullivan Elementary (ASE). I began my career in education here at ASE as a SAILS paraprofessional, where I served for three years. During that time, I discovered my passion for teaching students in special education and returned to the University of Houston, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Teaching and Learning. In my first year as a teacher, I launched Sullivan’s ABC program and was honored to be named FBISD Rookie of the Year. I am truly excited and grateful to continue my journey at ASE this year!

I am born, raised, and currently live in the Fort Bend community. When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling, video games, fishkeeping, and taking care of my two dogs, Olly and Charlie.

I am passionate about creating an engaging and supportive learning environment designed for each student's unique needs. My classroom is a place where every child is encouraged, empowered, and valued to reach their fullest potential!
