Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year. I am Mr. AJ, and I am excited to be opening Anne Sullivan Elementary's ABC program this year!

This is my first year as a teacher for FBISD, but my fourth year working at Anne Sullivan Elementary (ASE). My career in education started at ASE as a SAILS paraprofessional for three years. I decided teaching in special education was the career for me, and I returned to school at the University of Houston where I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Teaching and Learning. I am excited and grateful to be returning to ASE this year!

I am born, raised, and currently live in the Richmond/Sugar Land community. When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling, playing video games, and learning history. I have two aquariums and two dogs, Olly and Charlie.

I am passionate about creating an engaging and supportive learning environment designed for each student's unique needs. My classroom is a place where every child is encouraged, empowered, and valued to reach their fullest potential!
