Greetings! I am very excited to be teaching Second grade at Sullivan Elementary. I have been teaching in Fort Bend ISD since 2008. I have taught First grade for 6 months and (ESL) English as a Second Language for the past 7 and half years. This will be my tenth year teaching Second grade.

I received my (EC) Early Childhood – fourth grade – Bilingual Generalist and a Master of Education – Curriculum & Instruction – Bilingual Education. I received my Bachelors of Business Administration – Marketing and Management from the University of Houston. I am ESL Certified and GT Trained. 

I have been married to my husband, Tom, for the past 30 years. We have 1 son, Winston. He graduated from Sam Houston University May, 2024 majoring in Biology and minoring in Forensics Science and Investigations. He has joined the military - U.S.A.Coast Guards. My hobbies are reading all types of Genres, Calligraphy writing, paper crafts, and taking care of my pets: Chiweenie dog, (Zoe), Rat Terriers (Totoro and Hayata) two cats a Siamese (Yuki) and a Bombay breed (Vigel). I enjoy puzzles, learning about different languages and cultures and being a former Advancement Chair for the Troop 38 Boy Scouts of America.

 My goal for all of my students is to help them be successful academically and socially.
