Hello Students and Parents! Welcome to 6th grade! This is my second year at RTMS, and I’m so thankful to be part of such a vibrant and supportive school community. I love helping students grow their confidence in math and discover that they are more capable than they think.

Originally from Louisiana, I now live in Texas with my husband and our four wonderful children.  I am a proud graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, where I majored in Public Policy. I began my journey in education in 2016 as a substitute teacher. Since then, I’ve taught in various capacities while raising my family, and each experience has confirmed my passion for teaching and supporting students through both academic and personal growth.

Before stepping into the classroom full-time, I worked in leadership and ministry—experiences that shaped the way I connect with people and approach my work with purpose and care. I see teaching as more than a job; it’s a calling to serve, inspire, and walk alongside students as they discover who they are.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, writing, and traveling. Life is full with two fun-loving toddlers and two elementary-aged students at home, so I understand the beautiful chaos of busy family life! As a mom, I know how important it is for students to feel seen, supported, and challenged—and I do my best to offer that every day.
