This school year will be Mr. Long’s 28th year in public education. George graduated from California University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. He earned his Master’s Degree in Education Administration from The University of Houston. He began his teaching career in Fairfield, Alabama at C.J. Donald Elementary School, then moved to Houston, Texas, where he taught 4th and 5th grade at Hunters Glen Elementary School.

George began his administrative career at Austin High School and has a vast array of experiences from several different schools.

He enjoys his time away from school watching football and traveling with his beautiful wife, Carmella, and their three lovely daughters: Gabrielle, Danielle, and Chanelle.
