Hi there! I’m Shannan Richard, and I’ve proudly served in the field of education since 2017. My mission as a teacher is to create a learning space where students feel inspired to explore, discover, and master their academic goals, while also learning how to collaborate, share ideas, and grow together as a community.

I began my educational journey at Texas Southern University and later earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Kaplan University. I completed my teacher certification through the Texas Institute for Teacher Education, which sparked my passion for helping students reach their highest potential.

When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll likely find me spending time with family and friends, getting lost in a good book, traveling to new places, or enjoying the beauty of the outdoors.

Teaching is truly my passion, and there’s nothing I love more than seeing my students learn, grow, and thrive. I’m excited for another amazing school year ahead, full of learning, growth, and wonderful memories!
