I began my teaching career in 2003 in Houston ISD. I have been a proud Fort Bend ISD teacher since 2018 and I began teaching at Austin High School in 2025.   I graduated from Texas Southern University where I played basketball and received a Bachelor of Science in Finance. I also received a Masters of Educational Leadership from Lamar University. I really enjoy working with our Special Education students, helping them grow and mature as they prepare for life after high school. 

In my spare time I enjoy sports and spending time with my family.
