Kayla Carter is a product of the Fort Bend Independent School District. She graduated from Lawrence E. Elkins High School in 2011. In 2015, Kayla received a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Louisiana State University. She began teaching 8th grade English Language Arts at Lake Olympia Middle School in January 2023. Today, she serves as the 8th grade team lead for ELA and the head cheer coach. She enjoys teaching at Lake Olympia because it provides the opportunity to work with the same community in which she was raised. Ms. Carter is attentive and understands students' needs, concerns, and perspectives.
