Kayla Carter is a proud product of Fort Bend Independent School District and a graduate of Lawrence E. Elkins High School, Class of 2011. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communications from Louisiana State University in 2015.

Ms. Carter began her teaching career in January 2023 at Lake Olympia Middle School, where she currently serves as the 8th Grade English Language Arts Team Lead and the volleyball coach. Teaching at Lake Olympia holds special meaning for her, as it allows her to give back to the same community that helped shape her.

Known for her attentiveness and empathy, Ms. Carter is dedicated to understanding her students’ needs, concerns, and perspectives, building strong connections that support both academic and personal growth.
