Born in a musician's family, I started to learn violin performance at age 4.

After going through many rounds of competitions, I enrolled and graduated from the Music Middle School affiliated to the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. From my continuous studies at Shanghai Conservatory of Music, I received my "Bachelor of Arts" degree.

I worked as a professional First Violinist at Shanghai Philharmonic for 3 years.

I was chosen, and studied with the world-famous violin professor, Ms. Fredell Lack, and graduated from University of Houston, received my "Master of Music" degree, and "Doctor of Musical Arts" degree.

Always a scholarship winner, member of Phi Beta Delta Honor Society for International Scholars, Golden Key International Honour Society, Houston Professional Musicians’ Association, American Federal Musicians Union,

I started to teach in Fort Bend ISD since 2008, and later on, taught Spring Branch ISD, and came back to Fort Bend ISD.
