Mrs. Kanu joined Lake Olympia Middle school in 2019 and currently serves as an 8th /7th grade Social studies teacher.

Even though she started her teaching career in Nigeria, This is her 8th year as a teacher in Texas and her 6th year in FBISD. She is passionate in helping students,  has impressive skills in conflict resolution, critical  and imaginative thinking. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, taking care of family and traveling. She is married with three children - two girls and one boy.
