Mrs. Kanu joined Lake Olympia Middle school in 2019 and currently serves as a sixth grade Math teacher.

Even though she started her teaching career in Nigeria, This is her sixth year as a teacher in Texas and her fourth year in FBISD. She is passionate in helping students,  has impressive skills in conflict resolution, critical  and imaginative thinking. In her free time, she enjoys cooking , taking care of family and travelling. She is married with three children - two girls and one boy.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Master of Business administration degree from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nigeria.
