Hello, 

My name is Dr. Rodney Johnson and I'll be your 8th grade and Algebra 1 math teacher. The universities I've attended are Langston, SWOSU, UNT, SFA, and UT-Arlington. I've taught or been an administrator in Richardson, Dallas, Alief, Houston, and Fort Bend ISDs. We always begin with the END in mind. Therefore, the expectation is 100% MASTERY on the STAAR 8th grade math and Algebra 1 EOC Exam this Spring. To achieve 100% mastery, your job is to remain focused, pay attention to detail, and practice daily. Lake Olympia is your school! And 8th graders are considered leaders and role models on this campus. If you meet these expectations...GREAT things will happen and hard work will definitely reward your potential.
