What's up Lake O family!!! My name is Mr. Jones, and I’m thrilled to be your science teacher this year!

I’m 30 years old and originally from Flint, Michigan. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Science from Southern University, and later completed my Master’s in Education at Mercer University. I’m passionate about making science exciting, hands-on, and meaningful for every student.

When I’m not in the classroom, you can probably find me on the basketball court or dancing! I love basketball, cheering, and dancing, and here’s a fun fact — I was actually a professional cheerleader for the Houston Rockets!

My favorite foods are tacos and fried chicken, and I’m always down for a good meal and great conversation.
