Greetings, My name is Melody Vascik and I am the SAILS teacher for Lake Olympia Middle school. I am a graduate of Sam Houston State University with BA in Dance and minor in Psychology. I spent two years as a substitute teacher for Fort Bend ISD and Cy-fair ISD. From 2008-2012, I worked in Applied behavior Analysis as a behavior therapist at a treatment center for children on the autism spectrum and other various disabilities. During my time working in ABA, I discovered my passion for working with individuals with special needs. For two years I worked as a special education paraprofessional at Stephen F Austin high school. I am very excited to be your child's teacher and look forward to a wonderful year!
