Mr. Alvin James Henry Jr.
Greeting my seventh and eighth grade parents, my name is Alvin J Henry Jr. and I have been teaching for thirty-two years, twenty-one of which have been here at Lake Olympia. I received my B.A. in Education from Harding University, Arkansas and my M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University in Austin, Texas.
I enjoy teaching and inspiring my students to improve their skills in all areas academically and socially, so they can become productive citizens. I have a wonderful family; wife Yvette, of thirty-two years, and we have two beautiful children, Alexandra and A.J. I'm a Master Sergeant in the United States Army Reserve with 36 years of service, which will come to a close after December 8, 2025! I am a member of the greatest fraternity in the world;Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated. In my leisure time, I enjoy running, biking, cross-fit and competing in duathlons. It will be my joy and pleasure to have your children in my class. We will have a great school year.
