I am thrilled to be the librarian and serve both teachers and students with library resources to create a learning hub where resources can best facilitate student achievement. 

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and grew up in FBISD. I attended the University of Houston where I earned a Bachelor of the Arts degree in English from the University of Houston Summa Cum Laude. I graduated with a Master of Library Science degree from Texas Woman's University in May of 2015 with a 4.0 GPA. I graduated with a master's degree in Kinesiology in December of 2021.  

I have 10 years of experience teaching secondary English Language Arts. I have also coached ice (figure) skating since 2004. I hope to use my experience in education and teaching to best serve the Lake Olympia population.

Some of my hobbies include figure skating, reading, traveling and baking. I have a passion for nutrition, physical fitness, human rights advocacy, and environmental protection. I am also fluent in basic conversational Mandarin Chinese.
