Dear "NEW" Team Allenspach,

I am honored to teach your child 6th grade math at Fort Settlement Middle School for the 2024-2024 school year. I have taught at "The Fort" since they opened the doors of this beautiful school 24 years ago. I feel so privileged to be part of the staff here. I am a native Houstonian who has lived in SUGARLAND since I married my wonderful husband forty-one years ago. We have a son, Drew, thirty-eight who is married to Katrina. They have given us four little loves.  Jackson who is 6 years old, Katelyn who is almost 5, Luke who is 3 and our newest little love, Abigail was born on her Big brothers’ birthday this past April.  I love being "Honey" to them!  Our daughter, Hillary, thirty-five, was married last December to a wonderful man named Andrew.  She taught kindergarten at Colony Bend Elementary for six years and is now back into the business world working for an IT Staffing Agency.  Anyone need any IT Staffing?  😊

Funny story: Our family was a completely divided when it came to our college alma maters. I attended Texas A&M and our daughter cheered for The University of Texas; my husband graduated from Purdue University and our son played Division I golf for Indiana University. Crazy to think - I wore orange for four years and my husband wore crimson! We are blessed!

As a teacher, my goal is for my students to embrace the experience of middle school and love math in the process. I look forward to a wonderful year filled with many exciting educational discoveries. I hope to guide my students to develop an appreciation for exploring mathematics through the challenging concepts we teach. Thank you for sharing your child.  My motto:  Once Mine, Always Mine!
