I am new to Sugar Land, but I already love everything about it. I love the people, I love the landscape, and I especially love Fort Settlement. I received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston with an English minor. For 8 years after college, I worked in the medical center as an Orthotist designing, fabricating, and fitting orthopedic devices on patients depending on their needs. In 2003, I was not looking to change careers, but teaching chose me. After 19 years of teaching, I still have the same enthusiasm as I did on the first day. I am looking forward to sharing my enthusiasm with all my new students.

I have a daughter starting her junior year at Texas State studying Business Finance. I am super proud of her, and she inspires me with her loyalty to friends, her hard work, and her deep outlook on life. At home, I have a toy poodle named Beau Bailee. He has been my best friend for 12 ½ years. On days off and definitely during vacations, you can find me riding my bike or climbing mountains. Let’s have lots of adventures this year in room 442!
