Welcome!

Hello and welcome! My name is Ms. Smith, and I am excited to be a part of the amazing team here at Ronald Thornton Middle School, where I teach Human Services and College and Career Exploration. 

Originally from Miami, Florida, I earned my degree in Public Administration from Florida A & M University, and later received my Master's degree in School Guidance Counseling. My passion lies in helping students discover their strengths, explore career paths, and prepare for a successful future.

When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family, and giving back to the community. I also have a fun-loving dog named Smokey, who keeps life interesting!

I look forward to an exciting school year filled with growth, exploration, and success. Let's make it a great one!
