During Bobcat Time (15 minutes each day for one week) teachers will guide students through a discussion about the difference in teasing and offensive jokes/slurs and bullying. They will discuss the impact of those slurs on the school climate. We will include online bullying as a part of the discussion.

Students will create a hashtag in their advisory classes that they can say and use against derogatory statements. Students will create “When someone…… that’s not funny” statements.

Students will write one day a negative thing that they have said or has been said about them. The next day they will write a positive thing to say back or even just “that’s not funny” and cover the notecard they wrote the day before.
