Welcome to English Language Arts. I am happy to be your teacher. I have been teaching at First Colony Middle School since 2007. I love working with middle school students. My job is to motivate, encourage, inspire, and teach each student in a positive direction so they may succeed in life. My passion is to help them become diverse readers and creative writers in preparation for high school.

    Tutorial Days: Tuesday and Friday; students can come on non-ELA tutorial days with a pass provided in a cup on my desk.

Teacher Tutorial Schedule

  • Tutorials are Tuesday and Friday mornings; however, arrangements can be made for additional mornings as needed. There are passes readily available in a cup on my desk for any student who needs to come in. I will also accommodate students who would like to come regularly/daily to begin their day organizing, reading, working on existing assignments, or just want to start the day in a quiet atmosphere.
