I am the head choir director at First Colony Middle School, and I have been here since 2016.

Some things about me: I currently serve as TMEA Region 13's MS/JH Vocal Coordinator. In 2022, I received the Texas Choral Directors Association's Young Director of Distinction Award. I received my Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Houston (Go Coogs!) in 2015 and graduated Magna Cum Laude. I have been singing in choirs since the age of ten. I have sung with professional choirs around the Houston area and I have worked as a camp counselor/camp admininistrator at Interlochen Arts Camp in Interlochen, Michigan.

My teaching goal is to help young students grow into outstanding young human beings through music. I believe music has the ability to help any person who is struggling to find their place in the world make sense of their lives.   

When I am not singing or teaching, I like to spend my time hanging out with my friends, baking, cooking, sleeping, and playing with my cats, Tuna and Scoodles.
