Welcome to my teacher webpage. I am very excited to be at First Colony Middle School this year teaching 8th Grade U.S. History.

My love of education has led me to pursue what I consider the greatest profession in the world. Working with students to encourage a love and appreciation for Social Studies and History provides me with the opportunity to be an integral part of the growth and development of students in a subject that is often restricted to notes and pages upon pages of information. It is my privilege to bring those pages to life and make the information both enjoyable and relatable as they continue their paths to success. Through the use of variable teaching methods such as discussion groups and interactive technology, I believe a classroom where students are engaged and excited to learn about the past, present, and future is not only possible, but fully achievable.
