I grew up in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, and I got my bachelor's degree from Northern Illinois University. After getting my degree, my husband and I decided to leave the windy city and start our lives in a warm and loving city called Sugar Land, TX. I have been living in Texas now for over twenty years. I have been an educator for eighteen years and have discovered that teaching is more than a career for me but my calling. Before coming to First Colony Middle Schoo, I worked at Walker Station Elementary and Mission West Elementary teaching fifth grade. I have truly enjoyed working with my ESL students for the last fourteen years at FCMS, and I am looking forward to working with them in the future. My hobbies are reading, photography, and spending quality time with my three children. I am looking forward to having an outstanding school year.
