I have been teaching in Deaf Education for 16 years, with this year being the 13th at First Colony Middle School. I truly enjoy working with this age group! This school year I am excited to work with my students and help them grow in their skills as successful and contributing members of society.

I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Jamaica, where I always was "that" bookworm. To this day, reading is a great source of enjoyment and has opened many doors for me. Outside of the classroom, I adore spending time with my two children - proud #bandmom and #dancemom! I love working in my garden, meeting new people, and exploring new cultures through travel.
