Anne Archer is in her third year of teaching. She studied Music Education with a focus in String Pedagogy at Texas State University under the direction of Dr. Rebecca Tast, and violin under Paula Bird. Mrs. Archer has taught group classes, including the Beginning Suzuki Violin/Viola class and the Gold Orchestra, as well as private lessons with the Texas State String Project. She was also a member of the Texas State Symphony Orchestra. Annie has toured in Europe and Canada with the YOSA Philharmonic Orchestra as well as the Texas State Symphony Orchestra, performing in cities such as Budapest, Prague, and Vienna. Most recently, Annie taught for two years as the assistant director at Bowie Middle School. She is also newly married with two cats, Hank and Opal. Annie looks forward to continuing to grow as a musician and an educator with the FCMS Orchestra.
