Hello, my name is Krysta Lopez, and I am thrilled to be joining the Bobcat Pride this year! This year I will be teaching 8th grade ELA and also coaching 7th grade volleyball and co-ed tennis. This is my 5th year in education. I spent the majority of my career in Lamar Consolidated School District, but recently taught at Bush High School. I graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown with a Bachelor's of Arts in English with certification to teach ELA 7-12th grade. I have two children who keep me and my husband constantly on the go. My family is also very SPORTS oriented, so we spend most of our time on the football or soccer field, or at the cheering gym.
