This is my 23rd year at Garcia. Most of that time has been dedicated to teaching math.  I love the challenge of what middle school students bring every day and being able to build relationships with them. 

Outside of the classroom I enjoy spending time with my husband, Paul, and my two children, Paige, who is in her 12th year of education, and Devin, who works in the veterinary medicine department at MD Anderson.  I also enjoy reading and traveling.
