I am originally from the great state of Ohio and attended Bowling Green State University where I earned my degree in Secondary Education Integrated Science. After graduation, I moved to Houston to start my professional teaching career. I attended the University of St. Thomas where I earned a Master’s of Education in Curriculum & Instruction. I have been teaching 6th grade science here at Garcia since 2018, but previously taught 8^th grade science for 6 years and 7^th grade science for 4 years. I am looking forward to an amazing year of 6th grade science!
