Hello Gator Family!

I am really excited about teaching 6th Grade SS World Cultures at Garcia Middle School in Fort Bend ISD. I have been in education for 22 years and  taught in Alief ISD and Cy-Fair ISD as a 4th-8th teacher of ELAR and Social Studies and as an ESL Instructional Coach/Specialist in Alief ISD. 

I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and Walden University with my Masters in Educational Leadership. 

I have been happily married for 24 years and I have 2 wonderful children - a son who is entering his junior year at UT Austin and a daughter who is entering her sophomore year at Fort Bend Austin High School.
