Hi, my name is Humeyra Altunkopru.  I’m a proud wife, mother, and your child’s math teacher! 

I will be teaching 6^th Grade Math at David Crockett Middle School. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I am certified in 4-8 Math.

I believe that all children are unique and have something special that they can bring to their own education. My passion for teaching stems from the joy of witnessing young minds flourish and achieve their full potential. My approach to education emphasizes fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and respected. 

In our classroom, we will explore various concepts, engage in interactive activities, and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I strongly believe in providing a well-rounded education that not only focuses on academic excellence but also encourages creativity, empathy, and a love for learning.
