Mr. Bryan Liu

Hello and welcome to the 2024-2025 school year at Garcia Middle School!

My name is Bryan Liu, and I am excited to be your math teacher this year. This will be my 6th year at Garcia Middle School, and I will be teaching 7th Grade Math and Math Lab. Additionally, I am the Math Counts Coach for MGMS!

I grew up and was a student in this very district! I graduated from the University of Houston, where I earned my degree in education. 

My teaching philosophy is simple: I want to make math clear and interesting for everyone. I believe that with the right support, every student can do well in math. In my classroom, I aim to create a positive and welcoming environment where students feel comfortable to learn and ask questions. I focus on helping students think critically and solve problems, encouraging them to always try their best.

I look forward to a fantastic year of learning and growth together!

  • My tutorial times are Thursdays in the mornings from 8:20 until 8:45. 

    All students are allowed to go to other teacher's tutorials in the mornings and after school.

    Additional tutorial times can be scheduled by student request.
