¡Bienvenidos a la clase de Español!  I am happy to be your Spanish teacher this year and look forward to all the exciting experiences we will have.  I have been teaching for 21 years, but this is my sixth year at Garcia Middle School. Before that, I taught in my beautiful hometown of Cayey, Puerto Rico.  I have a bachelor's in Education with a minor in bilingual education and an MA in ESL with a minor in Spanish.  My love for language and culture grew from my own experiences of having to learn Spanish when I first moved to Puerto Rico at the age of 16.  After that, I fell in love with the language and became passionate about sharing my experiences with others.  My main focus this year will be to motivate, encourage, inspire, and guide you in a positive direction, so you can also develop a love for language that will benefit you greatly.  Syllabus Spanish 1-B     Syllabus Spanish 1
