I grew up in Fort Bend ISD and attended Bowie Middle School and Travis High School. I then went to the University of Texas at Tyler where I played volleyball and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (education) and minored in Mathematics. I taught for one semester at Tyler ISD as a 7th grade math teacher. I have three sisters and we are all very close to each other and my parents. My mom was a teacher for many years and played a huge role in my desire to teach! In my spare time I love to bake, be active, be outdoors, watch sports (college volleyball and the Astros), watch movies, spend time with my dog Lacie or have game nights with my family/friends. I am so glad to have found my way to The Fort and could not have asked for a better campus family!
