I am so excited to be part of the FSMS Administrative Team! I began teaching in 1997 in Fort Worth ISD, and I moved to FBISD in 1999. I taught English I and II at Hightower High School for five years before joining the Curriculum Department, where I spent thirteen years supporting Secondary ELA teachers across the district. In 2017, I returned to the classroom as part of the FSMS ELA department, teaching all grade levels. Now I am proud to support my fellow Falcons in a new way – as an Assistant Principal. I look forward to getting to know your students and watching them soar!
I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in English and Education from Texas Wesleyan University in 1996 and my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Houston Baptist University in 2005. In 2016, I obtained my Principal’s Certification through Lamar University. I love learning!
I have been married to my husband, Dennis, for over twenty years, and we have two amazing sons who currently attend school in FBISD. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, baking, and playing board games.
Every single day, I strive to support students and teachers as they learn and grow. Together, we can make tomorrow even better than today.
