Welcome to Second Grade!

I was born in Houston and grew up in Sugar Land. I attended Walker Station Elementary, Garcia Middle School, and Austin High School. I am so happy to be teaching in the same district that I attended! I graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2009. I taught first grade for four years and have taught second grade since 2014. I also taught in Montana for one year as the GT and intervention teacher.  My husband and I have two sweet sons. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I also like to watch and play sports, cook, and do anything active or outdoors!
