I was born in the Philippines and moved to the United States at the age of two. From the age of seven until the present I have lived mostly in Texas--- a native by adoption! I received my Bachelors degree from the University of Houston in early childhood education and taught for five years in Houston with Alief ISD, before moving to Austin with my husband Stephen and our son Wesley. I taught at Zilker Elem. for six years, 1st grade (4) and Kinder (2). During that time Stephen finished his Ph.D at UT and we had a beautiful daughter, Amelie. We moved to Hattiesburg, Mississippi for 1 year where I taught 1st grade. Then we finally returned to Houston, Tx, where I taught one year of 1st grade and the rest of my years in Kinder here at Cornerstone. I've been teaching here at CSE for over 13 years!  I am thrilled to be teaching Kindergarten again and can't wait to have an awesome school year!
