I am honored to be teaching fifth grade at Cornerstone! I am looking forward to watching your child grow this year.

I live in Sugar Land, Texas, with my husband of over 25 years, and we have four wonderful children, ages 16, 22, 24 and 26, together.  We also have a cat, named Socks, and a dog named Doug.

As a teacher, my goal is to inspire in my students a deep love for learning, cultivating a spirit of initiative and drive that will last a lifetime.  I hope to guide my students in developing a growth mindset.  I believe it is of the utmost importance that children receive an education which builds on prior knowledge and experience, as well as individual talents and interests, creating a springboard for a superior level of personal achievement throughout life.
